With the rising cost of road vehicle fuel and the increasing public awareness of environmental issues, more and more people want to change to autogas.

We are looking for garages
We invite you to join the National Autogas network
of approved installers if you have:
- A successful car or light commercial vehicle service and repair business
- Suitable premises
- Good standard of garage equipment
- Diagnostic equipment
- A laptop computer
- A high standard of service
- Enthusiastic technicians (preferably at least 3 on site)
- Competency in simply bodywork and vehicle wiring
- The desire to promote environmental concerns
- An interest in the fuels of the future
Background
Autogas, or Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) is the
cleanest automative fuel available. Because it can
play a role in producing harmful emissions, the
government is committed to supporting autogas with
much lower duties than those on petrol and diesel.
Fuel costs with autogas are typically around half
those for the same vehicle running on petrol.
Company cars and commercial vehicles, taxis, 4 X 4s
and many others can easily cover the cost of the
conversion in their first year's fuel savings.
